NZRA Awards 2007

YMCA Auckland and AUT won the SPARC Push Play Award for their 'Never2old' exercise programme announced on 29 November at the NZRA Conference in Rotorua. Highly commended in the Outstanding Project Section was YMCA Auckland for their Schools Health Project 10 Week Challenge.
The ‘Never2old’ exercise programme established in 2002, for over 60 year olds is working wonders. Each month more than 3000 people participate across 12 venues – doing everything from Tai chi to belly dancing.

The Schools Health Project 10 Week Challenge run at YMCA Auckland's Otahuhu Centre, is fledging project targeting over-weight, college-aged children, the ‘10-week challenge’ is achieving great results.
